The Journal of Diabetes, Metabolism and Endocrinology publishes its scholarly content under an open-access model designed to facilitate the broad dissemination and responsible reuse of scientific research.

3. Attribution

5. No Derivatives

The integrity of the published scholarly work should therefore be preserved when it is redistributed.

6. Downloading and Copying

Users may also share the original licensed article through appropriate non-commercial channels provided that the required attribution and license information are maintained.

7. Distribution

Redistribution of the original published article is permitted under the applicable license, provided that:

  • Appropriate attribution is retained.

8. Author Rights

11. Open Access and Licensing

Open-access availability and content licensing are separate from the editorial decision-making process.

Manuscripts are evaluated on their:

  • Scientific quality.
  • Originality.
  • Methodological rigor.
  • Ethical compliance.
  • Relevance to the journal.
  • Compliance with peer-review requirements.

Open-access publication or payment of an applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) does not guarantee acceptance.

12. License Changes and Exceptions

The licensing status of individual articles or specific components may differ where legal, contractual, or third-party rights require a different arrangement.

Any applicable licensing exception should be clearly identified within the relevant article.
